Welcome to the Computer / Digital Art Class Webpage

Hello, my name is Mr Joseph, I have been working at St A's since 2013 as Computer Integration Specialist after my retirement from the French Air Force. I am the Computer / Digital Art teacher and moderator of the Robotics and Advanced Computer training program. I love everything about new technologies. I have 17 years experience working as Cyber security specialist and mentoring in computer science education for the Military in Europe and in the United States of America, teaching computer science to elementary and middle school students for 9 years in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. I am also the recipient of numerous awards, including the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools Educational Technology Influencer 2020.

This year in computer class we will be exploring coding from K-8th grade. We will also be working on projects and other fun technology adventures to help students become successful digital citizens. 

As Digital Art teacher, I will use my knowledge in computer networking design tools, to teach students to create digital drawings, paintings and work with vectors.
Students will be using computers, Graphic tablets, 3D Scanner and 3D Printer.
3D printing is one tool that helps students conceptualize and visualize their designs as they develop their work from the creation of the model using a 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) to the final product.
