Mrs. Suesan Baehr
Hello. My name is Suesan S. Baehr, and I will be teaching 5th Grade ELA, Religion, and Social Studies, and 6th Grade ELA and Social Studies. I graduated from Holy Family University with an Honors Fine Arts major in 2020. My teaching experience first started in high school, when I coached middle school cheerleaders in a POP Warner Program for 4 years. I also coached high school cheerleaders for 1 year after I graduated from high school. As a Fine Arts major, we were required to intern. So, I was an intern at Blue Sky Art Studio as an Assistant Art Instructor for all ages, including adults.
I believe that my role as a teacher is to create an encouraging and safe environment so students can feel comfortable expressing themselves and share their thoughts. I want the students to feel comfortable asking questions to improve the way they think about things. I'm going to do the best that I can so they'll be ready for the following year.
I believe that my experience as a mother, wife, and Air Force veteran also prepared me to be a teacher. As a mother and wife, I've learned patience, caring, and understanding. As an Air Force vet, I've learned about keeping people safe and secure.
